First Rant

Rain.

Oh, the rain. I expected Ballarat to be cold. I expected it to be wet, I also expected it to be windy. This is absolutely ridiculous though. Hrm.. I wonder if the camera works. If it does, I'll take a picture of our creek for you.

... okay, it doesn't work. Dammit. At any rate - I usually love this weather. It's beautiful in moderation. THIS IS NOT MODERATION! THIS IS EVERY SECOND DAMNED DAY. RAIN IS MEANT TO GO "tinkle tinkle" NOT "WOOSH! WHOOOSH CRASH SPLEEEERF WHOOOCH BANG BANG". I'm cold, I'm uncomfortable, I can't go out to the shed, it's even a hassle to go to the toilet. THE ROOF CAME OFF MY SHED. No, I'm serious. It came off about ten minutes ago and I'm too afraid to go put it back on. I was in some serious pain just before, and that is NOT COOL.

Introduction and such

Well, here we are. Hopefully a blog I'll be able to keep up with and update with relative frequency. So, introductions! Hi, I'm Luke. I'm a late-20's historical reenactor who's currently residing with his lovely girlfriend in country Victoria (in Australia, for those of you who might not know). I've studied physics and information technology and have a reasonable grasp of those two. I've been involved (on the losing side) of religious debates; worked as a door-to-door charity worker; piloted a ship, a houseboat and a small dingy; I like my new straw hat, and.. well, I can't think of much else relevant at the moment. At any rate, I am Luke - welcome to the blog.

Unfortunately for you lot, I'm not particularly upset about anything at the moment. So here's your chance to shine, readers! I want you lot to comment and let me know something that upsets you. Doesn't need to be a rant, I'd be happy with a single word if it was like that. If you're lucky, it pisses me off too and you'll all end up with a real post soon after this.
